Hearth ("we", "the app") is a bill-splitting app operated by George Sanchez.

What we collect
Account info: your name and email address, via Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In.
Profile: an optional photo and bio you choose to add.
App content: groups, bills, payment records, and comments you create. Visible to members of your groups.
Payment handles: optional Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, or Apple Cash usernames you add so housemates can pay you. We never collect card numbers, bank credentials, or process payments — payments happen in third-party apps.
Push token: a device token so we can deliver bill reminders.
Usage analytics: anonymized feature-usage signals via TelemetryDeck (no advertising identifiers, no fingerprinting). Crash reports via Firebase Crashlytics.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data.
We don't use your data for advertising or share it with data brokers.
We don't track you across other apps or websites.
Where data lives
Your data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore, Authentication, Storage) in the United States, encrypted in transit and at rest.
Sharing
Bill and group data is shared with members of groups you join. We share data with service providers only as needed to run the app: Google Firebase (storage, authentication, push) and TelemetryDeck (anonymized analytics).
Your choices
Delete your account any time in Settings → Delete Account. This removes your profile, leaves your groups, and deletes your authentication record.
Notifications can be disabled in iOS Settings.
Children
Hearth is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
