Acceptance. By using Hearth you agree to these terms.
What Hearth is. Hearth helps you track bills and split shared ones with a group. Hearth is a tracking tool only: it does not move money, process payments, or guarantee that anyone pays you. Payment links open third-party services (Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, Apple Cash) governed by their own terms.
Accounts. You're responsible for your account. You may delete it at any time in Settings.
Your content. You own the bills, comments, and photos you add. You grant us the limited license needed to store and display them to your group. Don't post unlawful, abusive, or infringing content; we may remove content or suspend accounts that do.
Groups. Content you add to a group is visible to its members. Invite codes should only be shared with people you trust.
Hearth Pro. Pro is an in-app purchase processed by Apple. Billing, renewal, and refunds are handled per Apple's terms. Prices may change with notice.
Accuracy disclaimer. Splits and totals are computed from what you enter. Hearth is not financial, tax, or legal advice, and we're not a party to disputes between group members.
Availability. The service depends on third-party infrastructure (Apple, Google Firebase) and may be interrupted. We may modify or discontinue features.
Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hearth is provided "as is" and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.
Termination. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the operator resides.
